Since the start of the Coronavirus pandemic in March 2020, we have been looking at running some of our autistic-led groups that would have taken place at the Lovell Autism Hub online. Now, we are running a few regular groups via Zoom and Discord. Here are the groups and some details on what they are all about:
Peer Support Group
This group acts as a check-in/social space where you can meet other autistic adults in Leeds and share experiences. It runs on the first and third Tuesday of every month on Zoom from 5pm to 6pm.
This is an online version of the Women’s Group we would normally run at the Hub. It is led by two autistic women – one a staff member and the other a member of our Steering Group. It runs on Zoom on the second Tuesday of every month from 5:30pm to 6:30pm.
This group will be run on the Discord app. The group will initially run on the fourth Tuesday of every month from 5pm to 6pm, but may be more frequent.
This is based on our Craft Group, which would normally be held at the Lovell Autism Hub once a month. The first group will run on Tuesday 29th September from 3pm to 5pm and will have a different theme for each group, along with some time for anyone taking part to talk about what they are working on.
