Autism alert cards

We can produce autism alert cards, which are free and completely personalised. They can be used if you are out and about and feel stressed or anxious about explaining how being autistic affects you.

On the front, the card has your name and whether you prefer to be known as an autistic person or a person with autism. If you have any other conditions such as dyslexia or dyspraxia, we can list those on the front as well.

On the back, you can name a few things about how being autistic affects you. Examples could include experiencing sensory overload, communication issues and not being able to cope in crowds. At the bottom of the page, there is space for an emergency contact that someone could get in touch with if you are in a tricky situation.

*Please note that our alert cards are only available for autistic adults who live in the Leeds City Council area who receive little or no funded support.
